I'm
a student and so don't have much money available for driving lessons,
but I want to pass my test and quickly. What is the best length of
lesson I should be taking to get the most for my money? I want you to get the best driving lessons for your money. I
would recommend one hour if you are in town (see “Why should I have my
driving lessons in town?”). Any shorter than this and we are not really
able to get to places around town where you need to go, any longer than
this and you are not able to effectively take in everything being
taught (there is a reason mainstream schools only have 1 hour class
lessons at a time). Having said that, if you
are struggling with a specific skill a couple of sorter focused driving
lessons can be of great benefit. As the focus is on a particular skill
then driving around town is not necessary.
However,
being out of town could disadvantage you in a one hour driving lesson;
this does not go against my point of “effectively take in everything”
because the drive into town and/or out of town will primarily cover
general driving experience, rather than skill development time. Also read the question " How many driving lessons should I take? "
